“Sam Sparro’s clearly settling into LA life. The Australian-born, US-based pop star arrives looking tanned and toned and sporting dark glasses. Indoors. In a very dark basement. It’s all very Hollywood, but Sparro himself couldn’t be friendlier. And small wonder — his second album Return to Paradise is about to hit the shops after three years of hard work. Its old school disco vibe, inspired by iconic New York club Paradise Garage, has a far more relaxing sound than the first album, 2008’s Black and Gold. Like a cool drink on a hot summer’s day.
