Sam Sparro announced as MTV’s LOCAL PRODUCE act for MAY
MTV is pleased to announce Grammy nominated Australian singer-songwriter, Sam Sparro as the Local Produce feature artist for May 2012. From today, Sam Sparro fans can head to MTV’s on-air and online platforms for exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences and inspiring live performances.
In the fourth installation of Local Produce, Sam Sparro treats his fans to an awe-inspiring, exclusive performance, showcasing three brand newtracks off his soon to be released album, “Return To Paradise”. Offering fans a unique insight into Sparro’s world, MTV’s Local Produce also goes behind the scenes filming a “Day In The Life”, as Sparro prepares for a live show in his hometown of Sydney. In addition, local fans can tap into Sparro’s unforgettable sense of style when the cameras accompany him to Melbourne as he visits his favourite vintage stores. A must-see for Sam Sparro fans, Local Produce: Sam Sparro premieres on MTV, Channel 124, Friday May 25 at 7pm.
“The band and I always have such a great time playing at home in Australia and I’m excited for MTV to show exclusive live performances of some of my new favorite songs. Usually, I’m quite private when it comes to my daily life but I was happy to give MTV the chance to show people a little bit more,” says Sparro.
